Picking Up Your Completed Form I-693

Your completed sealed Form I-693 will be available for pickup at our Costa Mesa clinic. We will notify you when your form is ready, typically within 2 to 3 business days of your appointment depending on your processing option.

When you come to pick up your form, please bring your photo ID so our staff can verify your identity before releasing the sealed envelope.

The Sealed Envelope Rule

This is critically important: the sealed envelope containing your Form I-693 must remain sealed at all times until it is submitted to USCIS. Do not open the envelope under any circumstances.

If the sealed envelope is opened — even accidentally — the Form I-693 is invalidated. USCIS will not accept an opened Form I-693, and you will be required to undergo a new immigration medical examination and pay the examination fee again.

How to Submit Your Form I-693 to USCIS

After picking up your sealed Form I-693, you should submit it to USCIS according to your attorney's instructions or the instructions in your USCIS notice. The sealed envelope is typically submitted with your I-485 application or brought to your USCIS adjustment of status interview.

Mailing Options

In most cases, we recommend picking up your completed Form I-693 in person to ensure the sealed envelope is not damaged in transit. If mailing is necessary, please contact our office to discuss options for safe and secure delivery.
